​A series of letters addressed to a mother navigating aging and degenerative hearing loss, a listening of what remains silent. How do traces of a home, a history and silence become parts of an inheritance from a mother and a motherland? Through an intergenerational lens, the film explores cycles of personal and political violence shaping the lives of South Asian Muslim women.
